Assistant Night Manager

We’re looking for an Assistant Night Manager to join our Nights team here at The Runnymede on Thames. As Assistant Night Manager you will be supporting the Night Manager and deputising in their absence

Salary - £24,517.99 per annum

Role Responsibilities:

 Maintain a safe and secure environment for all residents, staff and customers of the Hotel during the night

Delivering excellent customer service by handling all customers’ requests and complaints during the night to ensure their satisfaction and a high level of service

Ensure Night Audit and End of Day procedures are applied so that all transactions are posted and represent a correct record of the daily revenue

Assist in Front Office operations such as check-ins, check-outs, and reservations

To ensure the environment is tidy and adheres to all health & safety regulations

To ensure licensing legislation, all other relevant legislation and hotel policies are adhered to at all times

Provide an accurate handover to returning managers at the end of the shift

The Ideal Candidate:

The ideal candidate will need to be genuinely hospitable and efficient when dealing with guests’ requests and queries, able to handle situations in a friendly and professional manner whilst maintaining a high level of customer service at all times, have good communication and leadership skills whilst previous experience at a similar level in a Front Office role would be preferable. Knowledge of the Opera system would be a bonus but full training will be given.
